Dorothy Lee Kidd Fox born March 24, 1929 in KNoxville, Tennessee. She was a first-born daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She moved to Florida in 1957 and loved the beaches and the sunshine. Dorothy who was known as Dottie went back to school in 1970 and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved taking care of sick little ones (pediatrics) and enjoyed the knowledge she gained from the medical field.

She married Wade H. Fox, Jr. on birthday in 1950. They were married for 61 years. If there is one thing to remember about me Mom, she loved her family and she loved the Lord.

On April 7, 2020, she went home to be with Jesus due to the Coronavirus. She was 91 years young.

Because of the horrible virus, the funeral is limited to just the family. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Woodbine Baptist Church/building fund.

Love and Prayers,
Her children,
Steve and Ren

Our family was blessed to know and love Mrs. Dottie. Her smile and laughter were contagious. Her joy was certainly from the Lord! -The McMaths

My sister and I came to know and love Ms Dottie at Brookdale over the past year. She was our mom’s meal companion along with two other ladies with whom we often visited at supper time. We definitely had our own party at that table! These ladies had us laughing with tears rolling down our cheeks more times than I can count. We grew to adore Ms. Dottie in such a very short time and we recently waved at each other through the window once the doors were locked... mouthing words to each other. What a blessed soul she was and a gift to all who met her! She was in our thoughts and prayers and only today finding out this terrible news. Heartfelt condolences from our family and from her friends at Brookdale. We grieve with you.
