When my husband and I retired to Navarre Florida 4 years ago, we quickly came to know and love Burt very much. Although all the members of the Navarre Church of Christ in Navarre, Florida were very special, Burt stood out among the crowd because of his loving nature, his kind and sweethearted tenderness and his compassion for other people -especially the Lord. Burt and I grew very close as was the nature for everyone around him. It was just such a treat to chat with him and he was a joy to be around. We mostly chatted about his health and his doctors and specific medications.. his ailments and everything that he was going through... He had such a passion and tenacity to overcome his illness which I find to be synonymous with his life as a successful person - devoted husband and father and family man... He was a quality person of the old school nature that had you looking up to him and asking him for advice... He was successful at no matter what he did... from following the Lord with all of his heart and all of his might, to having been successful in the staffing business and many other endeavors. Burt will be sorely missed like none other and his presence will live on forever with our church members and in the halls of our church which he established.
Rest in Peace Dear Soul...

"You have fought the Good Fight, you have Finished the Race, and you have kept the Faith."
-2 Timothy 4:7

You *are* certainly a person that we can easily say, "You are in a better place".

Much Love and remembrance of you always Dear Brother Burt... And many prayers going out to Dearest Frances and family... 💙

Love forever,
Julia Davis
